I am sorta surprised so many people said "not at all." Do they just think it won't happen, or that the government will be able to come in and save them? Because I don't see that happening.
I think it would be interesting to find out who among those stating "very" concerned are in the health field, and who among those are in medicine, public health, etc. It's an unfortunate fact of life that citizens of the United States ignore threats because they are not personally affected. Yet, once it happens to them, they are looking to someone to blame. Despite this, we in the health sector need to continue our vigilance in getting the message out, getting interested people prepared, and being available when others become concerned.

Unless people are personally threatened, I think they don't care. That's what makes it harder.
